Here's a quick check-list to help you out with the rental so that it goes as smoothly as possible.
Things to check and/or do prior to taking the trailer:
🔴 The keys for the trailer are inside the lockbox attached to the trailer (Red in color). Lock Code will be sent after payment. Open and remove the keys (Includes all required key for that specific trailer)
🔴 Remove trailer lock and re-insert after connecting to the towing vehicle (You are responsible for theft to the trailer while in your possession)
🔴 Inspect the trailer for any visible damage, make sure you check the fenders, drop gate, ramps, etc. If you find any damage to the trailer prior to pick-up, please email us at [email protected], or text us at (321) 258-1996 right away.
🔴 Open the toolbox and make sure the jack, lug wrench and straps / accessories are in there.
🔴 Make sure you have the correct size hitch ball for the trailer. All trailers are either 2" or 2-5/16" (You are responsible for any damaged caused by using the wrong size ball)
🔴 All trailer include a drop leg on the jack, make sure you pull the pin and raise the leg, then reinserting the pin. You are responsible for damages to the jack or losing the pin.
🔴 Make sure the trailer is as level as possible once connected to the towing vehicle. Should you need a drop hitch, we can provide one for you as needed.
🔴 Inspect the tires (We also do this prior to any rental).
🔴 Plug in the lights and make sure they all work as expected (We also do this to the trailer prior to any rental).
